In The UK, With A Canadian Motorcycle License, Can I Get Insurance?
Question by Dan | Posted in Motorcycles
Hello,
I am living in London for a year. I have a full Canadian motorcycle approve, and my uncle will lend me a bike while I am here, but can I insure the bike without a UK license?
As I am only here for a year, I don't improvise I should exchange my license for a UK one, as I hear it is a lot of hassle.
What if I am here for longer than a year. How long can I use my Canadian empower for?
Also, any recommendations for insurance providers?
Answer: apologetic to burst your bubble however you may find that in order to ride a motorcycle over here on a semi permanent basis you will sine qua non to hold a valid uk licence, this would also apply to a car, i would also check with the local authorities that the free choice you currently hold will cover you to ride in this country now.because if not and you get pulled over by the police they will decoy the book at you, and you would become an insurance leper, that is the way i understand it, dont shoot
