How Is ChampVA Insurance With Prenatal Care? Should I Look Into Supplemental Insurance?

I have ChampVA benefits and my budget and I are thinking of starting our family soon. How is ChampVA and maternity/prenatal care? Does it start to get indeed expensive? Should I look into getting supplemental insurance to go with ChampVA? If so, is there a wide selection of supplemental companies? The only one I have found is with AMRA (American Military Retirees Guild). Is this a good one?

Answer: Each insurance company has multiple plans. You'll have to call ChampVA and ask about the motherhood benefits.

There's very, very little out there, for supplemental insurance that covers MATERNITY. Most of it has a waiting period of a year, before you get pointed.
 
 

Is There A Good Supplemental Dental Care That Works Well With United Concordia?

As always, thanks in progress.
While going to the dentist for a checkup, I discovered that United Concordia doesn't charge very much in terms of dental care. I'm looking for a supplemental policy to go with it. Unfortunately, we apparently have to keep United Concordia's insurance and last to pay way too much for their lousy coverage. I'd drop it like a hot potato if I wasn't required to keep it. Is there anyone out there who bought supplemental insurance? Is it working well for you?

Answer: None will addition that as that plan is a waste of money

Supplemental Plan For Children's Health Insurance Program?

My teenager is enrolled in the children's health insurance program (CHIP) and some of her claims are not fully covered by CHIP, are there any supplemental programs or plans at one's disposal to her? (For example, my grandparents are enrolled in medicare and have a plan called Care Improvement With an increment of that compliments her Medicare coverage) Do you know of any companies or programs that would do that for kids? or can they do that?

Aflac Supplemental Insurance?

My corporation is considering offering the Accident, Cancer, and Intensive Care packages. It sounds special-occasion, but these packages are designed to go along with regular insurance, and most of us at our company do not have regular health coverage.

So are any of you current with the Aflac plans and could you tell me if it would be worth the money?

Answer: If you don't have even insurance, that should be first, the supplemental is nice, but a lot of people will never draw it. I know someone who paid for the extended care insurance for nursing well-versed in costs for probably ten or fifteen years, he died before drawing a dime of the coverage. It was a proper policy but it provided only peace of mind in his case.

I assumption after we get the "free" health care that will cost over $1 trillion, then we will still distress to buy supplemental insurance.

This government supported public option is a failure that has cost all of us a estate. The baby boom generation is just now starting to retire and none of us are old enough for medicare. That is very likely one reason Obama is pushing so hard for his version of health care. He wants those annihilation panels in place before we do.
