Has Anyone Gotten Liability Insurance For A Wedding Through Wedsafe? Are They A Reputable Company?

I'm looking to get hybrid liability and host liquor liability insurance. Wedsafe gave me a reasonable quote, so I'm just making steadfast that it's a worthwhile company to do business with.

(I know Wedsafe specializes in "wedding insurance" -- in envelope vendors drop out, things get cancelled, etc. -- I'm not interested in this, just in the ordinary/liquor liability piece.)

Answer: I did an AM Outdo check, and there's no insurance company called "wedsafe". They're quite an agency.

Check with your local BBB, and before you buy, check the ratings of the insurance companies that will be issuing the policies.

Which assemblage did you go with for your wedding/event liability insurance

What has your experience been with them

How much did you end up paying

Which part of country are you (curious if the cost varies by section/state)
every venue in my area requires it.

Answer: I'm in St. Louis, MO and the chapel we're having our proprieties in requires it because its a historic landmark. We're getting it through the organization that owns the chapel. I don't remember what company they use, but it will cost us about $150 for the required $1,000,000 policy. Try asking your venue if they have a preferred presence to give you a starting point.

We are getting married and having our levee in my parent's backyard. We will be serving alcohol, and want to know if/where we can purchase insurance for that day. Is this something we can advantage off of my parents' home owners policy or is there a separate type of policy we would want to purchase?

Public Liability Insurance For A Wedding Reception?

The venue where I am holding my wedding greeting has asked me to provide a Public Liability Insurance. I dont own a business how am I supposed to get a Public liability insurance? Please proffer.

Answer: You undoubtedly need to call your insurance agent on this one. Many homeowners insurance policies will cover this type of event without an additional mandate because it is already covered by the personal liability portion of the policy. BUT this is not universal, some companies exclude off premises rentals.

If you do not have a homeowners system or have a homeowners policy that will not cover your off premises (away from your residence) reception the charge will be in the neighborhood
