ZC Sterling Insurance Co....any Experience?

We are construction a house and shopping for insurance. Our builder recommends a company called ZC Sterling who I hold is underwritten or used to be Westwood Insurance. Does anyone have any experience with them? I checked JD Power and AM Best but could find nothing on them. Perhaps I'm not looking to the right places?

Answer: If they are not listed with AM Overpower, then they are not a company, they are an AGENCY or a BROKER.

It sure wouldn't hurt to call them and get a quote - but get several other quotes, from other agents, also.
 
 

Homeowner's Insurance: How Much Do I Need?

My present insurer has me at 320K, so I got 2 quotes and one company won't go under 371K and it's rated 80% by JD Powers, whereas the other plc will insure at 320K and is rated 100%, both have 1million umbrella, I think more than 320K coverage is outrageous, personally

the first company wants $832/year, the latter $969

should I pay a bit more for higher rating with a bit less coverage?

Answer: You miss enough insurance to cover the claim. If your house burns down, or even if you only have a kitchen fire, you need to have enough to cover rebuilding the as a gift.

That umbrella is in case you get sued. Two different types of claims.

If you're underinsured on the outlay to rebuild your home, you're going to be underinsured on the kitchen fire - because there's a clause in the policy, they only pay the interest of the kitchen fire that you insured the house

What are your thought on Ford and AIG stocks?

I realize that everyone thinks the BIG THREE is gonna die!!! But the reality is that they are not!!! Specially FORD! The new president is gonna keep on funneling money into the auto industry and be elevated tariffs on imports plus the fact of the TOYOTA RECALL!

Ford is really ranked the 1st by the JD POWER & ASSOCIATES in quality! Their vehicles are more fuel

Answer: I have alittle of both for evaluation plays...Me?I would rather put my money into great companies that I KNOW will last and are cheap now.Ans also paying dividends that I can reinvest like GE,BAC,DOW,etc...

What Kind Of Vehicles Can One Drive/ride In California With Out A Drivers License?

for the intend of this question bicycles don't count but powered wheelchairs and motorized bicycles do
( ex of motorized bicycle http://www.goldenmotor.com/JDbike/JD-ebi keprod.htm clearly different from motorcycle)
i need a way to get to work 5 miles away other than pedaling a rational bicycle but also don't have a drivers license could not afford gas or insurance costs of a car either and public bus's take to long and are unrelyable
something i can ambition/ride along the

Answer: hmm, you could roam.. but that would be a little far i suppose, and if you woke up late for work you'd be really late. a bike would prolly be the finest, lease expensive choice.. would you really ride a powered wheelchair to employment? lol that would be kinda funny.. those things don't usually go very fast, you could prolly walk faster, unless you contemplate on spending alot of money, a bike, skateboard, or scooter of some sort would be pre-eminent.
