My 16 Year Old Son Just Got His Drivers License So I'm Adding Him To Our Car Insurance.? |
Question by m | Posted in Insurance & Registration
My spouse and I are top-rated drivers, so we've always been contented with our rates through one of the top 5 national insurance brokers for 20 years. We get discounts for using them for our house and life insurance, too. Adding our son has almost doubled our in any event! Friends advise dropping the broker and going with one of the direct insurance companies to salvage money. My question is: is this a smart time to do it in light of the statistics that show many teenage boys get in accidents
| Answer: Boys of that age are the highest risk there is. Why on mother earth do you not just get some quotes for insurance from some other companies and then you will know, rather than wasting time on here asking a lot of non experts what they about? Remember also, that the sooner your son starts to build up a good driving record with, confidently, no claims, the quicker the cost of his insurance will drop. |

Question by zaffaris | Posted in Credit
My protect has bad credit and is looking for a personal loan. She has spoken with three companies that have offered to arrogate her. They each advised her that she would have to pay to insure the loan. She is attempting to borrow $15,000 and the three companies are asking for around $1,300 dollars to insure the lend. I have heard of companies requesting insurance on a loan, however I have never heard of making such a payment up front. The three companies that she is speaking with are:
American
| Answer: Sometimes proficient in lenders require that you pay mortgage insurance as part of your payment. I would certainly want to know the interest at all events and also if the loan needs to be secured. If your mother's credit is horrible because of some reason I would ponder it if she is desparate |

Buying Individual Health Insurance: Why Do Some Say A Small Independent Broker Is Best? |
Question by Barbara E from Houston Texas | Posted in Insurance
OK. I penetrate not to use a broker that is connected with a single insurance product, but what's up with a broker that works for a consulting unchanging? Is a national consulting firm bad?
Will I pay more depending on which broker I use? Also how long can I expect to wait for the underwriting to be done? (Fortunately, I am currently covered, I straight think I'm getting hosed on the price.)
Thanks to all. I know there are knowledgeable insurance brokers out
Answer: First....how do you metamorphose these spammers go away...
To answer your question: Insurance is regulated, so if you called the company anon, used an agent of the company, used broker A, or broker B you would pay EXACTLY the same consequence. Nobody can change the price. So, from a price standpoint it makes no difference. You wouldn't need to use a large company that uses what's called a "call center" exemplar because then you're dealing with a 'customer service rep' |

Extensive time Real estate agent being asked by Broker to name Broker and united National Franchise as "additional Insured" on my personal auto action. Interested in the pro's and con's of this from agent perspective. Is this becoming common practice? does it affect my physical protection? will insurance Co. charge for such an endorsement?
Answer: This is run-of-the-mill practice in the Real Estate Industry. This covers the Broker if you are doing organization in your auto under the Brokers name and you cause damage. I would guess the Broker requires a minimum responsibility -- up to one million dollars in liability?
At any rate -- the Insurance company will not storm more to add and "Additional Insured", however, the increased limits of liability will draw a greater premium. Liability costs are among the lowest |
