I have faith my parents insurance was paid off to my siblings, but I was tol by them that there was not a policy found. Is there anyway a search can be found on the internet to access insurance policies pay-offs. I be acquainted with there is not a Insurance database, was told it was eliminated years ago. Is there any other way?
Answer: Let's see, you confidence in your siblings are lying to you and hiding money that is rightfully yours.
*IF* there was an insurance policy, payable on ruin, it could only be paid out 1 of 2 ways.
1. To a named beneficiary and if you aren't one of them, tough.
2. To the estate. The esate would then dig up around and distribute the money to the heirs in the will. If there is a will and you aren't listed, tough.

I am a woman in general good health with no ailments or terminal disease. My husband had a $500,000 survival insurance policy on me. I had originally signed a much lower amt to cover any funeral fees (the primary) for unexpected death, however, he deliberately raised it this much to half a million dollars without my grasp. He currently has other life insurance policies, however, has mentioned it is only placed on him. I called the life insurance company in quiz and asked my policy to be deleted,
Answer: Right, only the policy owner can cancel a policy, or change the beneficiary. Once you give permission, that's it.
HE can take out as many policies as he wants on the kids, too, because they are HIS, and you can't do a blessed feeling about it.
But as you found out, he needs YOUR permission, to take out the policies on you - and you've only given permission for ONE policy, so that's all there is.
If it's any consolation . . . $500,000 isn't an uncalled-for |

I impecuniousness to know if there is some website that can tell you what insurance policies existed after someone has died.
Answer: If you are vexing to find a life policy you have a few options.
Search through all the papers and documents in their house if they have a behaviour you should come across it.
You may have to go through all the old checkbooks to find when the premium was last paid. This might mean looking back as far as one year.
Inhibition old credit card statements. Your relative may have paid premiums by credit New Year card.
Ask your relative's lawyer, banker, or accountant. |

Is There A Way To Find All A Persons Life Insurance Policies After They Died? |

Buddy-in law passed away in October and did not have everything in order or kept together. He lived with his 92yr old mother. Their ancestry was in a disarey and my husband and his other brother couldn't find all his policies. So I hope someone out there can give us advice.

How can I find out if any sustenance insurance policies have ever been purchased on people in the past and present. I've emailed life insurance companies asking them this same call in and never receive responses to my inquiries. I'd really appreciate any feed back on my questions so that I can put closure on some thoughts and/or possibilities.

Answer: It's reclusive information, Lanny, subject to the privacy laws. Any adult that has insurance on their life would have to relinquish an application, even if they aren't the policy owner - so your ONLY way to know, before death, is to ASK the person.
Your only way to positive AFTER death, is to have access to their valuable papers, and go through them looking for a policy. Or to be executor of their class, and get their banking records, looking for a payment to an insurance company. |
