How To Change My Name On My National Insurance Card Online?

I've called the HMRC about my name incorrectness on the National insurance playing-card, and they told me to reform the name back online, but I couldn't find the website in order to change it.

So please help me do it :-)

I applied for an intercession online and was contacted through email to give my national insurance number to confirm whether i was eligable to work in the uk.
I just did it, but pang it as i don't know whether i should have done it!
What should i do now??? And what can they do with this information?

Giving Out National Insurance Number Online?

Hi,

When I sometimes concentrate for jobs online I am asked for my National Insurance number in the application form.

I was wondering if this is normal practising as I thought you need it after you are hired.

I have been to a few websites such as the 'three' mobile phone company and they ask for National Insurance figure.

I am asking because I was worried it could fall into the wrong hands and I end up paying.

Answer: I have never been asked for my National Insurance figure up when applying for a job. Its of no use to them they shouldn't be asking for it until you are employed. I certainly wouldn't fill it in on a website it could end up anywhere.
