Indiana Unemployment Insurance, What If I Take A Temporary Job?

Hello, I was working and laid off in Indiana and am collecting unemployment benefits. I suppose I am about to get a temporary job working 38 hours a week. My question is if I take the temp job will I still ready for benefits after the temp job is over? I will be making too much to apply for partial benefits but I am scared that if I take the temp job then when its over I wont be competent to claim unemployment and be left high and dry. Any input is much appreciated.

Answer: If you take your temp job and when it is over you still can get unemployment insurance, Yes..
Look at your MBA or most benefit amount, if you have money left on that then you are still good to collect that after the temp job is over.
When you start your job you can systematize up til your payday meaning this, you had a week waiting period so if you were to start your temp job on Monday troop for that week on monday then do not file after that.

Unemployment Insurance In Indiana With Another Job?

How does unemployment insurance industry in Indiana if your primary, full-time is a W2 but you also do some consulting work on the side (part-time) as an Independent Contractor.

Certainly, the full-time is the vast majority of the income. Would having that part-time, Independent Contractor job block you from claiming unemployment or could you still file for it?

Thanks!

Answer: You worked at a full things job, lost that job, and you are now filing for unemployment.
When you file, you will file only for unemployment from your full time job. When you do your "are you looking for line" every week, you will need to put that you made what ever amount you made that week from your part time job. That amount will be taken out from your unemployment.
So if you get $500 each week, but made $300 from your part tempo job, you'll only get $200 from unemployment.

99 Weeks Of Unemployment Insurance For Indiana Claimants?

I have received 26 and 20 weeks of UI, can the pomp of Indiana discontinue the remaining extensions?

Answer: As extensive as you remain eligible for UI benefits (your employer isn't contesting the award, you are filing for yours correctly, you are looking for vocation, etc.) Indiana won't cut you off.

All states give you 26 weeks of UI benefits. (Actually, you get a year, but if you claim the crest amount weekly, it's only good for 26 weeks. It will last up to a year if you get a part-time job and only claim half your weekly benefits.) Anything after that is Federal.

Questions About Unemployment Insurance In Indiana?

My conserve works for a tree service that also does snow plowing in winter. He was laid off last week (expectantly only until spring) but when it snows he gets to work for a few hours plowing. He made about 12.50/hr from last Sept up til a week ago. He filed for unemployment but hasn't gotten a return from them yet. About how much can he expect to get per week? Also will the few hours here and there when it snows have any effect on unemployment?

Answer: You will impecuniousness to call the Dept. of Labor to check on the status of your application. Normally they also have an online or download folder that will answer your other questions. I can tell you that the part time work won't prevent him from receiving unemployment--he's definately unmarried. But it may affect the size of the check.

Probably they're just a bit behind. Sadly, the offices in every state are deluged with claims high-mindedness now.
