Indiana Unemployment Insurance, What If I Take A Temporary Job? |
Hello, I was working and laid off in Indiana and am collecting unemployment benefits. I suppose I am about to get a temporary job working 38 hours a week. My question is if I take the temp job will I still ready for benefits after the temp job is over? I will be making too much to apply for partial benefits but I am scared that if I take the temp job then when its over I wont be competent to claim unemployment and be left high and dry. Any input is much appreciated.
| Answer: If you take your temp job and when it is over you still can get unemployment insurance, Yes.. Look at your MBA or most benefit amount, if you have money left on that then you are still good to collect that after the temp job is over. When you start your job you can systematize up til your payday meaning this, you had a week waiting period so if you were to start your temp job on Monday troop for that week on monday then do not file after that.
