Australia Motor Insurance -- First Time? |
I'm buying a new car and am looking for insurance submerge. I've gone to many company sites and most don't ask my speed/ticket history, just accidents. Will I trouble to send them any sort of driving history report after I buy or will they get that on their own? I've heard companies have refused claims in the days beyond recall because people have not told them about their driving history and want to make sure I have hide just in case! Thanks!!
| Answer: when you take out an insurance protocol, you normally need to either talk to someone or fill out a proposal form. usually, this WILL ask for any traffic offences as well as any car accidents you've been in. essentially, the insurance callers is trying to get a picture of the type of driver you are. ie, are you a risk taker, by speeding and ignoring the law? not all companies ask for formal driving violation history (say if you have had only one or two tickets) BUT |
