hello everyone i am a illinois staying that was offered a position with amerilife selling insurance, during orientation even in the add, it was not disclosed that we would have to get the licenses in health and subsistence insurance ourselves, i would think that the company would pay for the classes etc.. and we we be commited to that agency for a period of time. well i am not working at the spell and everything together is well over $400. i wanted to know would a student loan help since it is covering

There is not one answer that will help you make this decision, because there a lot of variables.

Will it be worth it? The opportunity is there, it depends on what you realize of it. Some agents are making six figures+, some agents scrape by or don't make it at all. It will take some time to set up up a book of business...it will NOT come overnight. In most cases it takes a year or two to start seeing commissions that you can dynamic on.

I'm a part-beforehand life and health insurance broker. I have unused insurance leads (for both life and health) that I want to sell. Since I sell so few way of life and health policies (I do mostly group sales) I'm not even sure what kind of web-board or forum I could utilize to trade them. Please advise
