Applying For A Job Without National Insurance Number? |
I turned 16 back in January and never received my national insurance number. I applied for a put up but it was never sent out, and have just rang again - I will receive it within 7-10 days.
I'm trying to request for a job but think the deadline will have passed by the time I have my NI number, can I leave it blank on the application and untangle justify to them the problem or will this not be OK?
| Answer: I would well-deserved send the form without the NI number, they don't need it unless they hire you. If they decide to hire you they will ask for the number, confidently by then you will have it. If not you will be able to tell them face to face and likely someone in the accounts dept. can absolutely even speed things up for you. Don't worry about it, just make sure you complete the remainder of the form as best you can |
