My indoor cat was very ill after a short boarding cattery stay (she caught a thirst virus) - she stayed in the animal hospital for a week on a drip. My insurance covered exactly £400 in costs. I used Petplan and they paid up without a quibble within 2 weeks. The premiums also stayed the same - they didn't go up afterwards.
