Under Maryland Law, How Long Must A Reported Stolen Vehicle Be Missing Before The Insurance Company Replaces I? |
I am with GEICO Insurance if the arbitration is not state dependent is it insurance company dependent? If so, how long before GEICO will settle?
| Answer: If you have encyclopedic coverage........ Your policy states that there is a 30 day waiting period from the time you account the theft. The insurance company has to wait and see if the vehicle is recovered. During this waiting period they will deport their investigation. After the 30 days they will tell you their disposition, whether they pay the claim then, or they need to explore further. |
