Jobs In Insurance-I Am Looking For A Job With An Insurance Company...like Liberty Mutual, State Farm, All Stat?

I am in Fort Lauderdale, FL and convenient now have a full time job in sales and worked for a year with Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

Please give me some advice on how to get in with a house or how to break into that industry. I am looking to break in a with reputable company!

Any opinion would help...thank you very much!

Answer: I have a crony with Bankers Life and Casualty, and he is very happy so far. They have a great training program and they specialize in Seniors medicare supplements, life story insurance, and i think long term care etc. It's nice to focus on a certain demographic like seniors because in the next 30 years the many of people over age 65 will double.

Is It Wise To Invest In Life Insurance And Mutual Funds?

I'm 25 and I don't have a next of kin yet, but will eventually. My job is kinda stable at the moment. Should I purchase life insurance and mutual funds NOW to pursue in the low price so I will build up more money in the future for my family? What are the risks?
What other options should I take, like IRA, roth IRA, 401k jam? (I don't know what they mean yet, if you could sum them up for me, that'd help) And what are their risks?

Answer: Life-force insurance = no, if you have no family you are wasting your money

You can open an IRA yourself. A 401k requires you to be employed by a entourage that sponsors a 401k plan. If your company offers a 401k you should definitely get in on it for as much as you can give. If your employer has no 401k plan, you should open an IRA. I suggest a Roth IRA - you will pay taxes on the proceeds that you deposit into it now, but when you retire it will be tax free.

I hunger for to be a certified financial planner and by april I'll have the educational requirements for a CFP, but absolutely no affair. I think I will also need to take either the CSC mutual funds course or the LLQP insurance licensing course. I can have either of these done by april as well. What combine of jobs will give me the best experience to become a CFP, but again will take me with no experience except sales and customer service?

Is mortal insurance qualified as a business expense for an employer who provides it to its employees? My insurance agent and my accountant said it cannot be written off as a visitors expense. I used to get it with my old job and many insurance providers' websites (for example, Mutual of Omaha) have pages for employers. I'm miscellaneous.

Answer: In most cases, yes - HOWEVER. If you are the only hand, and it's your business, then it's not going to qualify.
